Hi, I’m Tess!

I was born and raised in Southampton, where I spent my childhood playing in the grass, wondering what the future might hold. I spent the first many years of my adult life traveling the world, exploring new places, immersing myself in vibrant cultures, and rarely finding my way back home. That is, until I fell in love with my now husband in my own backyard (but that’s a story for another day).

When it came time to plan my wedding, I discovered that creating beautiful settings where my friends and family could gather was something I wanted to do over and over again—it felt like a creative escape while allowing me to weave intention into bringing together the people I love.

What started as a treasure hunt for unique pieces to make my own wedding special has since become the heart of Hampton Garden Party, a carefully curated collection of dinnerware and decor. From vintage china dinner plates to silver-tiered dessert stands, thrifted pieces make up the core of our collection. As we’ve begun to expand our offerings, a large part of our inventory continues to be sourced second hand. Each one of our tables, for example, has been purchased from local rental companies looking to offload unused inventory. As we grow, we will continue to take a sustainable approach while offering a luxury feel.

Now, we’re here to help you create stunning, intimate gatherings without the stress of sourcing and styling. In a way, I’m still playing in the grass, just with a bit more intention and a lot more flowers.
